Vacancy – Doctors

Weekend Urgent Care shifts, for Urgent Care Fellows (FRNZCUC) or Senior Registrar available now. Best rates offered to suitably experienced and hard working doctors.

Hours are negotiable, and as you will see from this web site, we are a very modern Urgent Care Clinic in an excellent location in the heart of the Westgate Shopping Centre, just 15 minutes from the Auckland CBD. You will have excellent nursing and clerical support and be part of a team of ten permanent doctors with plenty of collegial support. Our practice uses Medtech Evolution PMS software. We aim to provide the highest level of assistance and equipment to our medical staff.

All candidates must be fully registered with the Medical Council of New Zealand and hold a current Annual Practicing Certificate. FRNZCUC is an advantage but not essential, as is a working knowledge of Medtech32. We are happy to consider candidates working towards FRNZCUC  and will provide supervision and mentoring if required. We offer an excellent remuneration package depending on experience.

Practice Nurse/Urgent Care Nurse

One full-time (or near to full-time)  Registered Nurse who is suitably qualified in Urgent Care or General Practice.  The following skills would be advantageous:

• Plastering
• Triage
• Cervical Smear qualification
• Immunisation qualification
• Venesection and Cannulation
• Certified Vaccinator Nurse

WEEKEND RECEPTIONIST – CASUAL OR PERMANENT PART-TIME

From time to time we may have a vacancy for a part-time or casual Medical Receptionist to undertake weekend shifts. Experience in GP medical reception and/or Medtech32 is an advantage but not essential. Please contact the Head Receptionist to see if any vacancy exists.

STUDENT RECEPTIONIST - PERMANENT PART-TIME POSITION

From time to time we may have a vacancy for a part-time student Medical Receptionist to undertake some evening and weekend shifts. Experience in GP medical reception and/or Medtech32 is and advantage but is not essential as full-training is provided. This would suit a student looking to undertake regular part-time work outside of university/unitec hours for a period of 2-3 years. Please contact the Head Receptionist to see if any vacancy exists.
